Breathtaking Mountain Lake Setting and Sandy Beach!
We are located in a sunny forested retreat with fully equipped cottages that sleep 6. Both cottages have sundecks with barbecues overlooking the sandy beach. Each has their own firepot and picnic table for a summer evening's bonfire.
Swimming is excellent at our west facing safe sandy beach - sunny all day long! Nearby are many scenic hiking trails of various degrees of challenge including famous Cathedral Grove OLD GROWTH FOREST walk, and the more energetic MT. ARROWSMITH TRAIL.
Kendrick Cottage:
This lovely little cottage sleeps 5 in an open floor plan which includes a double bunk set and a small loft for 2. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a 2 piece bathroom with a shower.
Loon Cottage:
This cottage sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch in the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, full bath and a utility room that houses a washer and dryer.
CAMERON LAKE LOCATION - in Coombs' Country (en route to Long Beach, Vancouver Island's West Coast Pacific Rim Park) 10 minutes to the villages of Coombs, Qualicum Beach and Parksville. This is the heart of Vancouver Island’s holiday country where many exciting activities abound.
Join us at Cameron Green Glades where family summer fun abounds with the many nearby attractions of the area. Experience hiking and bicycling trails, riding stables, cave tours, mini golf parks, live theatre, museums, beaches, bird and animal refuge centers, many world renowned golf courses and much much more!
The larger centres of Nanaimo and Port Alberni are only 30 minutes away. A 2 hour drive will get you to the capital city of Victora or to Long Beach the celebrated rugged west coast.
