Arcadia-by-the-Sea has a magic all of its
own.
All cottages have fully equipped kitchens, comfortable
duvet-covered beds and all towels & sheets are supplied. Each
cottage has its own deck or patio, ideal for candlelit dinners, a quiet
read and for drinking in the spectacular ocean views.

Enjoy swimming in our pool or playing
a few games of tennis, shuffleboard or croquet. Stroll
around the gardens and sit on the rocks down by the ocean and
look for crabs and starfish.

| The Lodge |
Arcadia By the Sea was built in
the 1920's as a private home and was originally called "Millefleurs".
It was turned into a lodge in the 1940's.
The present owners use it as their private home but the ground
floor is available for catered bookings with a spacious fireside
sitting room, meeting / games room, dining room and south-west
facing verandah overlooking the pool, tennis court and panoramic
ocean view.

Arcadia By the Sea is ideally situated
for bicyclists, golfers, kayakers, nature lovers, honeymooners
and for those special anniversaries.
It is only 1/2 km from the ferry and close to beaches, Otter
Bay Marina, Pender Island Golf Course, hiking trails, kayaking
and boat tours and rentals, bicycle rentals, restaurants and
many galleries and craft shops.

| How to visit us |
Arcadia By the Sea is located on
Pender Island in the beautiful Gulf Islands, a short scenic
ferry-ride from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) and Victoria (Swartz
Bay).
After docking at Otter Bay, turn left immediately after the
ticket-booth onto McKinnon Road. Only half a km (10
min walk) from the terminal.
