With breathtaking waterfront Ocean views, occasional sounds of sea planes, holiday boaters buzzing by, and the smell of woodsy freshness our delightful cozy cottage, nestled in the trees, offers complete privacy from the rest of the world.
Sandy Hook Getaway Waterfront Cottage features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, den, sleeping loft, living room, dining room and kitchen. It has a large cedar wrap around deck.
Enjoy beach front on site or at a community beach a couple blocks away. There's a park for children, hiking trails, kayak rentals, fishing charters all nearby.
It is ideal for a retreat or sabbatical for several months or even a year. Just a 40 minute ferry ride and 30 minute drive from Vancouver. It is located near the provincial park on Sechelt Inlet.

A Last Resort Beachfront Cabin in Gillies Bay, Texada Island
This charming cabin faces South West towards the mountains on Vancouver Island. The large cedar deck is built around a huge fir tree and features a wrap around bar table around the tree. It features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and a new large wrap around cedar patio. This is a perfect cozy cabin for quiet romance, laughter and delightful memories. Enjoy this cabin and the friendly island community as you stroll to the store or along the beach. There are about 1100 people living on Texada year round.
Texada Island is situated between Powell River on the Sunshine Coast and Courtney on Vancouver Island. There are many activities you may choose to engage in especially throughout the summer. Such activities include Jazz on the Rocks, the Sandcastle Weekend and the Diversity Festival, hiking groups, farmer's market, gallery showcases, fishing, swimming and mountain biking.
